Dear 6th grade parents and students,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! Thank you to all of you who stopped by room 21 for meet the teacher night. It was pleasure meeting each of you! I can already tell this is going to be an amazing year! Please sign up for classdojo so that we can use that app to communicate throughout the school year. Also, please make sure any paperwork you received tonight gets signed and returned to the school ASAP. Continue to check here for regular updates and news. It's going to be a phenomenal school year! -Mr. Sepe I can't believe that the 2018-2019 school year is already over! I am so proud of how much our 6th graders have grown this year, and I know they are ready to be successful in junior high! I will be teaching summer school here at Taft so if you need assistance locating any materials your child may have left behind, I will be here to help through June 20th. Thank you all for an amazing year! You are always welcome to stop by in the Fall for a quick "Hello!" Have a summer full of rest and relaxation!
Peace, love, and best wishes, -Mr. Sepe Can you believe there are only 17 days of 6th grade left?! This year has gone by unbelievably fast, and we are on the brink of returning to where this school year began: heat, long days, and summer! We are working very hard to ensure these last weeks go as smoothly and memorably as possible-- more details will be sent home soon. Let's all work together to end 6th grade (and elementary school) in a positive way.
-Mr. Sepe Wishing all of my 6th grade students and families a warm and happy holiday season. Here is a photo I took shortly before my flight home touched down in Portland, Oregon last week. It was a rainy and cold Christmas for me, but I'm enjoying the time with my family despite the weather. There's nothing like December in the Pacific Northwest! I'll see you all in a bit; take care and enjoy the rest of break. We have a lot to do in 2019!
-Mr. Sepe Congratulations to Wendy and Keegan for being our Students of the Week for the past two weeks. We appreciate how hard-working, kind, and organized you both are. Thanks for helping make Room 21 a great place to learn!
